Harvest Festival Service

21 October 2016 (by admin)

All the seats were taken this year at Chapel to celebrate the Harvest with the Children of Borderbrook.

After a warm welcome from our Head Teacher, Mrs Green, the Foundation Phase children told the story of The Little Red Hen, and the Juniors read their own poetry, messages of thanksgiving and prayers. The whole event was brought alive with the children's singing, the highlight of which was Somewhere Over The Rainbow, accompanied by Mrs Hennie. Have a look in our Gallery page for the link to be able to listen again! Reverend Rob Wier led a short prayer of thanksgiving, before parents, grandparents and friends alike went up to school for coffee and cake, and a look at the children's fabulous work.
